I offer handmade art made by only me, the owner of Art By Em. I work with my customer to make sure they get what they want, and the vision they had comes to life! I offer the different mediums I work with, like digital art, acrylic paint, and colored pencils, so the customer has a choice what the final result will look like, based on the medium.

Yes! I will email or contact you via your preferred method, with pictures of the progress. You can add your input or if changes are needed, make sure to tell me. Communication is important to my business, to make sure customers are happy with there purchase.

Especially if your not sure what medium to pick, or how to submit a commission. I’ll give my best ideas and what will make the art work turn out the best if your unsure or stuck!

Different mediums take a different amount of time. For example, acrylic paint takes awhile because of the dry time, and the time it takes to fully dry before I can spray a protective coat of varnish. There’s also a wait list for commissions. I’m only one person, and can only go so fast! I work on each piece individually and one at a time, so it may take up to 1 month before I start the project. But updates will be given often, pictures supplied as well.

The investment varies depending on the type and size of medium and the time and materials spent. Each listed price is based on the total number of hours and cost of materials to complete each project.
